Rodd D. Berro, Co-President
Rodd D. Berro joined Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. in 1988, bringing considerable knowledge of the technology industry and markets to the firm and becoming an integral part of the firm’s portfolio management team. Mr. Berro has been a Co-President of Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. since June 2004. He is also an Associated Person of Pegasus Group, LLC since September 2001, and an Associated Person of Sports & Entertainment Investment Advisers, LLC since 2016.
Berro earned a BFA from The North Carolina School of Arts. He received, and has held, the designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) since 1995. The CFP® designation identifies individuals who have completed the mandatory examination, education, experience, and ethics requirements mandated by the CFP Board.
Berro is a member of the Financial Planning Association, serving as Treasurer of the Greater Hudson Valley Chapter from 2006-2016. He has also served as President of the Music Conservatory of Westchester and its Music Therapy Institute, where he remains on the Board. He is also President of the Armonk Players.
John M. Sebastiano, Co-President
John M. Sebastiano brings expertise in the fields of finance, money management, client services, new business development and marketing to the firm. Before joining Pegasus Asset Management, Inc., Mr. Sebastiano served as Vice President of Farm Credit, a national commercial lender to the agribusiness community. Prior to that, Sebastiano was an assistant product manager for agricultural, metal and energy commodity options, for Merrill Lynch.
Sebastiano graduated from Cook College, Rutgers University, in 1988, with a B.S. in Finance and Economics, while he also attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1990, participating in the MBA program. He has been Co-President of Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. since June 2004. He is also an Associated Person of Pegasus Group, LLC since September 2001, and an Associated Person of Sports & Entertainment Investment Advisers, LLC since 2016.
Mr. Sebastiano serves on the Board of Directors to the Family Resource Network, The Park Avenue Club and the Montville UNICO Foundation. He also serves as an active member with the Montville Township Chamber of Commerce.
Courtney J. Barba, Senior Vice President, CCO
Courtney Barba serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. She has eleven years of experience with Pegasus. She is mainly involved with the internal operations of the firm, including accounting, computer operations and trading assistance.
Courtney is a graduate of Rockland Community College with an A.S. in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at APUS. Once complete, her goal is to fulfill the requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner.
Gabriella Cosentino, Vice President, Marketing & Client Relations
Gabriella Cosentino joined Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. in 2006, and provides all aspects of marketing, communications, advertising and direct client relations support to the firm’s clientele. She is instrumental in executing all communications material for the firm, and is writer and designer of the copyrighted company newsletter publication, “Financial Focus: A Pegasus Newsletter© “.
Gabriella has provided advertising to the Montville UNICO Foundation since 2006. She has also served as a coordinator for the Financial Planning Association of the Greater Hudson Valley from 2007-2014.
Bringing communications expertise to the firm, Gabriella previously held the position of head traffic coordinator in a high-end, multi-million dollar Tri-State Area corporation. She was also an account executive and graphic designer at a local advertising agency.
Gabriella is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts.
Shana L. Kravatz, M.A.
Shana serves as an Operational Administrator for Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. She also assists clients with new account openings, confirms trade allocations, and maintains the firm’s database.
Shana worked as a high school teacher for several years before moving to Rockland County, New York with her family. She is dedicated to serving the local community and volunteers with a variety of civic and religious organizations.
Shana holds a graduate degree from St. Joseph’s Seminary and an undergraduate degree from Marymount College. She joined Pegasus Asset Management, Inc. in 2011.
